Vasily Revyako, the hero of Belarus, the deserved farmer of the country, the head of the SEC "Progress-Vertelishki" is 70 years old. This enterprise, underlined in the welcome address, can rightly be called the forge of highly skilled personnel in the agrarian sector.

Today in SEC "Progress-Vertelishki" decent conditions have been created for labor, life and recreation for people. Here they are engaged not only in plant growing, the production of beef, poultry, milk, but also in the cultivation of minks. There are shops for processing milk and meat, an enterprise for the production of ceramics and artistic forging, a construction shop, a bakery, a mill. And fur coats, which are sewn at the local sewing workshop, are popular far beyond the borders of the country. At a high level, people are engaged in gardening. Recently, a scientific and practical training center for students of the Grodno State Agrarian University has been opened on the basis of ITC "Rydeli".
-More than 20 years ago, when I was at the helm of the farm, I imagined that in a few years everything that I had planned, I will do and will enjoy the result. It turned out that no. Vasily Revyako was born on 15th of July, 1948 in the village of Rabets, Khoiniki District, Gomel Region, in a large family. After graduating from a basic school in the village of Slabozhanka, he entered Rechitsa Zoo veterinary technical school. He served in the ranks of the Soviet Army, in 1975 he graduated from the Grodno agricultural institute.
In 1995VasilyAfanasyevich headed the collective farm "Progress". In March 2006 he was awarded the title of "Hero of Belarus" for exceptional achievements in the socio-economic development of the country.
Vasily Revyako is an honored agricultural worker of the Republic of Belarus, a candidate of agricultural sciences, a deputy of the Grodno regional Council of Deputies of the 26th convocation, a member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the 4th and 5th convocations.
